Photon Counting Detector Technology

Photon counting detector technology is applied in intraoral imaging for the first time, converting X-rays into digital signals directly; and yielding high dynamic range, high contrast-resolution images at comparatively lower dosage.

Our sensor/ detector is totally digital, without a need for film processing. Moreover, our photon-counting detector is manufactured with standard microelectronics fabrication process, thus enjoying sizeable cost advantage.

It is absolutely waterproof, able to be immersed in disinfecting solution for better hygienic and safety protection. The protective sheaths reduce the risk of cross-contamination and protect plates from scratches and heat.
