Fast/Acute Abdomen Phantom "FAST/ER FAN" <US5>

"UTUS" stands for Ultrasound Training Unit Series and currently has four variations. Each unit consists of an ultrasound imaging phantom, a set of ultrasound device and a display monitor for group sessions.

UTUS is Kyoto Kagaku's originally-developed model for ultrasound training. UTUS will contribute to the skill improvement of healthcare professionals, doctors, nurses, sonographers, radiographers and midwives.

The FASTER/ER FAN phantom was developed for ultrasound examination directed at identifying the presence of free intraperitoneal or pericardial fluid in traumatic patients. This phantom allows for the detection of possible causes of shock such as mass hemothorax, intraperitoneal hemorrhage or cardiac tamponade.pdf
